David Dietrich
David started as a technology systems provider for the travel industry by developing travel management software for America's railroads, international airlines and hotels across the globe. His numerous software products (over 45) interface with the world's largest commercial databases, providing value and lower costs to travelers the world over.
In addition to his travel industry work, David pioneered the design of other software products as well. He engineered and led international teams in America and China to develop SkyEyes, a real-time video and facial recognition system that is currently used throughout China; most notably at Beijing Airport, the Hong Kong-Guangdong border, and other major Chinese transportation centers. He also created and managed the teams that built t-ORB, a home and building automation system that incorporates building controls, camera management, and remote website monitoring.
He is currently pioneering a multitude of web-based emissions calculators (www.emissionscalc.com/calculator.html) that are available for use by businesses and consumers alike to measure their emissions. From Facebook, to the web, to your phone, to your iPad, he is passionate about building the tools and delivering the data that allows individuals and corporations to make the most intelligent decisions on how to best reduce their emissions footprint.
David has served as an adjunct professor at California State University San Bernardino, teaching graduate courses on all levels of Internet E-Commerce. He has also created and implemented Total Quality Management and ISO 9001 software certification for companies looking to become world-class manufacturers and service providers.
He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is a trained emergency radio operator and first responder with the Newport Beach City Fire Department.
